Dress Over Pants

My day-to-day is not the same, ever. The same should be with what I wear. As a teenager, I never wanted to dress like everybody else. That rebel feeling that I needed to be myself, unique, which is so not what most teenagers feel. As a young woman, it was hard to find the pieces that I created inside my head, so I made those myself. `Now, I don't have the time to make my own clothes, which is a shame, however, I use that creative side, by styling my clothes the way I want, in an unconventional way most of the times. I just want to challenge people to find that inside theirselves. This uniqueness. However, it is important to know what works for you. Have you ever hear Picasso's saying; “Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist.” That suits me just fine.
i'm wearing: Cue Dress | Asos Shirt | Seed Heritage Jeans | Dolce & Gabbana Bag | House of Holland Sunglasses
Dressing unconventionally may cause some reaction at first, and I love that. Encourage people to express their freedom is always something that I pursuit, that's the rebel in me.
A dress over a shirt and pants may look odd, but it creates interest besides elongating the body, which is a bonus, right?
There was a time when I was 'molded' by a certain way to dress, and suddenly didn't recognise myself, that's when I decided to go back to my roots; being creative and free. Pieces that speak to me or even classic pieces styled in a unique way. That's the beauty of being comfort at your own skin, and that only comes with getting older.
Have you ever worn you watch over shirt? Why not? It makes totally sense, when you don't have the 'time' to unconver your shirt sleeve :)
